Upcoming Events

August is a busy month for me!

August 1-2 I will be down the Cape. On August 2 I will be going to the Boston Pops "Pops By The Sea" in Hyannis at 5, and then Dan and I have tickets to WWE Smackdown and ECW SummerSlam Tour at the Melody Tent at 8.

August 3 Dan and I will be going to Mohegan Sun in CT for a live taping of WWE Raw.

August 9 Dan and I are going to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. I am EXTREMELY excited about this, as I had a taste of it last year at the Museum of Science in Boston! (It is what inspired me to buy a season pass! Best investment ever!) I went to the exhibit 3-4 times in the 3 months it was there! Ever since I have had an incredible urge to see the whole Hall of Fame, and I am finally able to do so this year!

August 15 Dan and I are taking his sister Natalie to the Museum of Science in Boston. It should be fun! (Can't wait til October though--the museum is having a Harry Potter Exhibition! That should be great!)

August 22-Dan and I are doing the Belcourt Castle ghost tour and Waterfire :) This is the first Waterfire I have been able to attend this year, so I am looking forward to it!

Sooo the month of August is BUSY!

September is quiet :) So far at least!

October 13-16 Dan and I will be in Florida! Disney World here we come! I can't wait! We will be going to Magic Kingdom(Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!!) , Hollywood Studios, Epcot(they are having their Food and Wine Festival!), Disney Quest, Sea World, and Universal, and hopefully we can find some time to relax in the pool!

October 25 Dan and I are going to Salem for Halloween Festivities!

That is my agenda for the next couple of months! It should be fun! Keep checking back! :)

A Day At Fenway 07.25.2009

The Sox game was finally here! I had chosen this game wayyyyyyy back in January, as part of Dan's birthday present. I had a whole day planned! We took the 8:53 train in from Attleboro. Dan wanted to stop at McDonald's when we got there, so we stopped at the one right after the Kenmore Subway Station. Then we headed up to Fenway. We got booked on the 12 pm tour. The tour was awesome! We stopped at the Home Plate Grandstand seats, the Right Field Roof seats, The State Street Pavilion seats, and the Monster seats. Carlton Fisk had signed the Fisk pole near the Monster seats, which was cool. I learned that front-row Monster seats really aren't that great! You are far from home plate, and you have about a 15-foot gap section you can't see the field from. Yet they are some of the most coveted seats in Fenway. Go figure!

After the tour, we hopped the green line to North Station and went to The Greatest Bar, near The Garden. My brother had found this great deal online, a pizza and 5 beers for $10! I don't drink beer, so I had water, but Dan polished those beers off no problem! After dinner it was back to Fenway.

We got there about ten past 5. The Sox wives were doing a food drive to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank, for a donation of $10 or ten cans you got an autographed Sox player picture. I donated ten cans and $40 to get 5 pics. I got Saito, Manny DelCarmen, George Kottaras, Papelbon, and Rocco Baldelli! Not bad! I also met Terry Francona's Wife and two of his daughters! That was awesome too!

We headed to our seats, right field grandstand, to catch the tail end of batting practice(unfortunately we only saw the Orioles, but I got an AWESOME shot of Varitek warming up with Lester!)and see the game, and what a game it was! Big Papi hit a 3-run homer in the 1st, and Adam Laroche hit a 2-run homer later on. Sox won! All-in-all it was a busy but fun day, and it couldn't have been more perfect! A Bit About Me

Hello!
You have found my blog! Let me tell you why I created it. I am a twenty-something who enjoys doing different things. Some are familiar, some are brand new. I am always looking for something fun or creative to do. I see Broadway shows a lot, and Red Sox games, and I love museums and things like that. So this is my blog of things I do. I was doing this on MySpace, but I feel I have gotten too old for MySpace now. Enjoy!
